Hi Dustin, I just wanted to drop you a line and tell you once again how incredibly happy and impressed I am with the muledeer that you recently mounted for me. It's AWESOME!!! Sometimes when I look at it looks so real I'd swear he's breathing! I think I will also take your advice and have you turn it into a free standing pedestal mount complete with habitat. I can't even imaging how incredible that will look. As you know this mount is a very special mount to me because the buck was taken by a close friend who is no longer with us. I can't think of a better way to honor his memory than this mount. The buck was his pride and joy and I can't help but smile every time I look at it. You did an amazing job!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!. Dan Gibson

" I enjoy enhancing things that are already present rather than covering them up.  For example:  The buck mounted in the shed horn scene above shows wounds and battle scars.  Reflecting what happens during a full season of rutting.  I think it tells a more complete story when those fresh scars and scrapes are put back in,  rather then repaired,  to look as if they were never there.

Showing off those little imperfections makes for a more realistic mount.  It gives you a little peek of  the character of that particular animal.  Split ears,  nicks,  cuts,  rubbed spots,  all little pieces of a story that makes that animal who he is.  Why hide it?  I say if you got it flaunt it!"
